Characters as structures
Lessons start with components, radicals, and visual clues so learners see how a character is put together.
About
Hanzi Forge is an independent learning site for people studying Chinese as a second language. The first game teaches characters by asking learners to assemble them from meaningful parts, then follow those parts into examples and stroke practice.
Lessons start with components, radicals, and visual clues so learners see how a character is put together.
The site opens with a playable challenge, then connects each result to detail pages, examples, and stroke order.
Daily puzzles and beginner trails are designed for short sessions on phone or desktop.
Hanzi Forge is still early. The first public direction is a focused Chinese character game site for overseas learners, starting with a curated beginner character set instead of a huge dictionary.
